How Organizations Actually Work on mWater: From Small Teams to Global Networks
By Fahmi Faridz, April 2026
We looked at how over 7,000 organizations are structured on mWater, and the range has impressed us.
Sometimes it's five people in one district. Sometimes it's thousands spread across a country, or across branches in a global organization. mWater supports that entire spectrum.
Small teams are doing focused, meaningful work. Large programs are coordinating data collection across entire regions. And more organizations keep joining every year, with no sign of slowing down.
What stands out most is how intentional teams are getting. Organizations are creating custom roles, defining clear permissions, and building structures that match how they actually work in the field.
This is what scaling impact looks like. People organizing around data, making decisions together, and building systems that grow with them.
