For those who use mWater in their iPhone through the browser, Safari continues to have problems. Here is one fix for a new Safari crash that came on our radar. This involves using the browser in private mode.
As a reminder, mWater prefers users to download the Chrome browser to their iPhone, tablet, or laptop when using Surveyor.mwater.co or Explorer.mwater.co. Android users should download the native Android apps (Surveyor or Explorer) from the Google Play Store. The mWater Surveyor app has a new display to the home page that breaks down sync status into Data Upload, Offline Sync (meaning forms and sites), and Image Upload. There is also now a Sync Now link, which will check for new versions of forms immediately when pressed.
This is especially helpful for users who sync in advance of working offline or in spotty service areas. The app will now check for new versions of forms every 20 minutes. We don't want to check too often, as it would burn through data usage. However, users can manually sync as often as they would like when they are in wifi or cell data coverage areas. These changes are pushed in the newest version of the app (v 6.4.74 at time of writing). Please ask all team members to be sure to go to the settings page and request an update, and to double check that their version is 6.4.74 or higher. Version number can be viewed at the top of the Settings page in the app. Welcome to the new mWater Community page! Check here often for platform updates, best practices, and other announcements from mWater.
